Inspiration

When I make my objects, most of my inspiration comes from surrounding nature, which has always fascinated my.
My art shows a strong relationship with Icelandic nature, the shape of flowers, the texture and patterns from mother earth and the steam, which is seen in so many places coming from the ground in Iceland.
I likes to capture things in a moment in time and enjoys producing items that are not exactly identical. I wants my ceramics to be unique, even though they are cast from the same mould.

When I light up my candle holder it reminds me when I see the sun go through the steem and somtimes you can see all kind of images like face or troll, body and etc......
